Why We Remember

Memorial Day is a solemn day of remembrance for everyone who has died serving in the American armed forces.  In 2000, President Bill Clinton began a tradition for observance on Memorial Day at 3 pm.  At that time our nation observes a moment of silence to "remember and reflect on the sacrifices made by so many to provide freedom for all".  It is inspiring to visit our National Cemeteries on that day and participate in the ceremonies.  The link below will provide you with the National Cemetery in Dallas location and events.
